Family Law

Each parent has an obligation and duty to support their children. Regardless of whether the parents are married, Nevada child support laws apply to all parents. Child support is calculated based on a percentage of both parents gross monthly income. It also depends on whether one parent has primary physical custody or the two of you have joint custody. There is a maximum and minimum amount. The minimum amount of child support to be paid per child is $100.00 a month, whereas the maximum depends on the income of the paying parent.
